Henna Brows The Pros & Cons

Henna Brows in another alternative to define your brows, however it comes with Pros & Cons which are good to consider before trying this treatment.

One of the major benefits of henna brows is that the tint lasts much longer on the hair than traditional tints! With henna brow tint the brow hair will stay tinted for 6-8 weeks compared to less than 4 weeks with regular brow tints. It also tints the skin which is great if you would like a better shape to your brows, giving a fuller look. Henna is a natural hair dye which is healthier for brows and encourage them to grow.

You can say that henna is a living product, when you first remove it, the colour may appear surprisingly orange or lighter than expected. This is a normal part of the henna's development process on the skin and hair. Oxidation occurs when the henna dye is exposed to air and then colour is changing to darker. This can be categorised as a disadvantage, especially if the client wants the right colour straight after the treatment. The overall result may depend on skin type and aftercare. Henna tends to fade quickly on active people and oily skin. Sadly henna has limited colours for those with light or blonde hair, the brows tend to be darker and make a contrast to the light features.

Overall, I believe that Henna Brows is a great way to try out a new brow shape before committing to Permanent Makeup and I'm often recommending that to my clients who are still unsure.

Thanks,
