Microblading: The Natural Look

Published on 30 April 2024 at 08:15

Microblading is a well known procedure of the Semi-Permanent Makeup world. It requires a manual hand tool with a surgical blade to create individual hair strokes. To me is a way of drawing a brow. It gives the brilliant opportunity of making brows looking very natural, well shaped and defined.

Many of my clients overplucked brows in their early years, as it was a fashion to have slim brows. Sadly the hair never grew back, therefore brows look patchy and unfinished. The usage of brow products such as pencils, or shadows can be a hassle for many people, especially to be able to create the same look every day!

In this situation, microblading is a wonderful option to have! The procedure is painful free, only slightly discomfort might be presented but I always make sure that my clients feel fine and safe during the treatment. The whole procedure takes about 2 hrs, following a 6 week top-up session where we have a chance to discuss the new brows and do, if any, changes. Microblading last between a year and 18-months before doing a refresh session. Again that depends on the individual and their skin type and lifestyle. A patch test and consultation is required before making the appointment, and I can be easily contacted via phone or social media platforms. I'm working in Doncaster on Wednesdays and on Mondays and Saturdays in Wakefield.

Deciding on Semi-Permanent Makeup can be not an easy decision, that's why I'm always suggesting my clients to have a look at different places, and get in touch with couple semi-permanent makeup artists before making the decision. It is very important to have a look at their portfolio and have the same understanding of what the procedure involves and what outcome the client want to achieve.

Semi-permanent Makeup is a brilliant way to enhance the natural beauty, saving time and money in a long run. Feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer your questions.

Thanks,
